Terms of Service
Version 2026-08-22.2 — effective 22 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
vryne is operated by Tayfun Gülcan, trading as Vryne.com (“we”, “us”), whose full details are set out in the Legal Notice.
You are contracting with us directly. We are the seller of the eSIM data plan, we issue the invoice and we account for the VAT on your order.
Card payments are handled on our behalf by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., The One Building, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Stripe”). Stripe is our payment service provider, not the seller: it collects the payment and passes it on to us. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own page and never reach our servers.
2. What we sell
We sell prepaid mobile data plans delivered as an eSIM profile (a downloadable SIM). Unless stated otherwise in the product description:
- the plans provide data only — no voice calls, no SMS, and no phone number you can be reached on;
- coverage is limited to the countries listed in the product description at the time of purchase;
- the validity period stated in the product description (for example “7 days”) starts when the eSIM first connects to a mobile network, not when you buy it;
- “unlimited” plans are subject to the fair use conditions in section 6.
The underlying network connectivity is provided by our upstream supplier and its roaming partners. We are a reseller of that connectivity and are not a network operator.
3. Requirements on your side
Before you buy, you are responsible for checking that:
- your device supports eSIM;
- your device is carrier-unlocked;
- you have an internet connection available to install the eSIM profile.
We publish this information before purchase, and Apple, Google and your device manufacturer publish compatibility lists. We cannot refund a plan because your device turns out to be incompatible or locked, once the profile has been made available to you — see section 8.
4. How an order is concluded
- You select a plan and confirm the two declarations at checkout (acceptance of these Terms and the withdrawal declaration under section 8).
- You are taken to Stripe’s secure payment page, where you enter your email address, your billing details and your payment details. The email address you enter there is the address we deliver to and the address that identifies your account — please enter it carefully.
- The contract comes into effect when the payment is confirmed.
- We then order the eSIM and send the QR code and installation instructions to that email address.
5. Prices, tax and payment
All prices shown on this website are in the currency displayed and include VAT at the applicable rate.
For digital services, VAT is due in the country where you are resident. The tax shown at checkout is therefore calculated from your billing country, which may mean a different rate than the one shown on the product page; the total you pay does not change. Business customers who enter a valid VAT identification number from another EU member state are invoiced under the reverse-charge procedure and are then liable for the VAT in their own country.
An invoice is issued for every order and is available on your account page.
Payment methods are those offered by Stripe at checkout.
6. Fair use on “unlimited” plans
Plans marketed as “unlimited” are not subject to a fixed data allowance, but they are intended for normal personal use. To protect the network for all users, our upstream supplier may reduce data speeds after a high volume of use within a short period, and may suspend a plan used for:
- permanent tethering of a household or office connection;
- commercial resale of the connectivity;
- automated, continuous bulk traffic, or any use that materially degrades the network.
7. Delivery
Delivery is electronic. We send the eSIM profile to the email address you gave at checkout, normally within a few minutes of payment. You can also retrieve your eSIM at any time from the account page by signing in with that email address.
If you have not received your eSIM within 24 hours, contact us at support@vryne.com before the plan’s validity would start.
8. Right of withdrawal and its loss
As a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days. Because an eSIM is digital content supplied without a physical medium, that right expires as soon as we begin supplying the profile, provided that you have expressly requested this and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right (§ 356 (5) of the German Civil Code; Art. 16 (m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).
That is exactly what the second checkbox at checkout does. It is not pre-ticked, and you must tick it deliberately. If you do not want to give it up, do not complete the purchase.
The full withdrawal instructions, including the deadline, the consequences and a model withdrawal form, are set out on the Right of Withdrawal page.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights if the eSIM is defective.
9. If something is defective
If the eSIM does not work as described, statutory warranty rights apply. Contact us first at support@vryne.com with your order reference — most problems are installation or device-setting issues that we can solve within minutes. If we cannot make the plan work, we will refund it.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act.
For slight negligence we are liable only where we breach a material contractual obligation — an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place, and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely — and in that case our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
We are not liable for gaps in mobile network coverage, for the performance of a third-party network in a given location, or for consequences of you being unreachable. Mobile data is not a suitable substitute for an emergency communication channel.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the version you accepted at checkout, and that version is recorded with your order.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of that state.
If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is our registered office.
